Representing students in doctoral and master’s programs at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York
The Doctoral and Graduate Students’ Council (DGSC) is the sole policy-making body representing students in doctoral and master’s programs at The Graduate Center. DGSC officers and representatives advocate for student interests and regularly meet with the administration to report activities and exchange information.
Guiding Student Advocacy: Officers guide the DGSC’s efforts in policy-making, ensuring student voices are heard and acted upon.
Championing Student Interests: Representatives serve as the direct link between the student body and the DGSC within the Graduate Center community.
Driving Initiatives Forward: Committees, Boards, and Task Forces are the driving force behind key initiatives, working on projects that enhance the student experience.
The DGSC proudly recognizes and supports interdisciplinary chartered organizations, fostering community-building events for students.
