Yoga & Pilates Classes

The Graduate Center offers free fitness classes for students through the Office of Student Affairs. Classes include Pilates, Yoga, and meditation for students. Information on classes is available from Student Affairs at (212) 817-7400, Room 7301, studentaffairs@gc.cuny.edu. Pre-registration is required before the first class for all classes. All classes are held in DGSC Lounge Room 5414.

Pilates
Pilates improves core strength and balances the muscles around the joints, improving the way your body functions, looks and feels. Instructor: TBD

Yoga
Release the stress of the day through breathwork, movement, and poses that will leave you refreshed, renewed, and ready for your evening. All levels are welcome. Instructor: Michelle Morrison

Mats and props will be provided for your use.

Half Movement and Half Meditation (Zoom Only)
This class offers a balanced blend of yoga and meditation, featuring 40 minutes of movement and breathwork, followed by 20 minutes of seated meditation. Join us to cultivate balance, stillness, and mindfulness, and carry these lasting benefits into your daily life. No prior experience is necessary. Instructor: Michelle Morrison
